DescriptionResponsibilities include:
Supervise accounts payable and general accountants
Supervise general accountants responsible for preparing and processing fixed assets, expense reports, bank deposits and various balance sheet reconciliations
Review A/P batches prepared by A/P staff and post to Great Plains
Print weekly checks
Banking activity
Post daily cash receipts batches prepared by Staff Accountant
Post miscellaneous cash activity as necessary
Reconcile cash accounts daily
Prepare and transmit payment wires and transfers
Process customer invoices and credit memos
Review sales orders to be converted to invoices
Convert sales orders and prepare invoices in Great Plains for review and posting daily before departure
Balance sheet reconciliations
Post monthly journal entries
Reconcile specific balance sheet accounts including some analytics
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent in Accounting plus 8 years of experience
Experience with Great Plains software
Extensive experience with Excel including complex formulas
Strong attention to detail
Organized and efficient
Team player
Good communication skills
Supervision experience
