Bachelors degree in business, working knowledge of GAAP
4 or more years of relevant AP experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with vendors
Experience working on semi-complex tasks in AP, where the ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice or format is required
Ability to review your own work, including proper GL coding
Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Responsibilities
Process full Accounts Payable from invoice to filing
Process expense reports (T&E)
Review GL coding for accuracy
Enforce internal travel and purchasing policies
Verify information and resolve any discrepencies
Support month-end close
Prepare 1099 statements
