The Accounts Receivable Clerk will manage revenue by processing and posting invoice and payments; research and resolve missing payments; and update financial records. Strong organizational and analytical skills are required to succeed in this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Compile and process billing data from operations systems and other sources to generate accurate and timely invoices to UK subsidiary customers. Post invoices and payments to accounting system to ensure that revenue, accounts receivable and cash are properly recorded.
Work closely with customer service Account Managers to ensure accurate and timely billing of customers.
Process customer deposits and properly apply payments to customer accounts
Update receivables by coordinating and maintaining daily sales order processing and bank remittance transactions.
Assist the collection team with researching, negotiation and resolving any conflicts regarding payments.
Maintain financial security by adhering to internal accounting controls.
Protect organization?s value by keeping information confidential.

Assist and support other accounting team members as needed.
Design and implement process improvement where applicable.

1-3 years accounts receivable experience preferred.
Must be thorough, organized, and detail oriented.
Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, emerging company environment preferred.
Proficient in the use and application of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
