Our Acquisition Marketing Manager is an analytics and marketing superstar who will be working on all sorts of projects. You?ll help us with targeted outreach (both to users and merchants) and to use data to figure out what is working and what is not. You will take a lead role in analyzing our growth and its drivers, as well as supporting marketing and product decisions through ad hoc analysis and periodic reporting on our usage across platforms (mobile / web / email).
Manage the strategy, planning and execution of online search marketing programs, including campaign setup, monitoring, reporting, analysis, optimization, budget pacing and forecasting, keyword research and expansion, competitive benchmarking, and strategic portfolio insights
Perform strategic data mining and analysis, drawing insights to optimize campaign performances and customer target strategies
Drive customer acquisition via online marketing, including a mix of email marketing, SEO, Display, Social, Retargeting, Affiliate Marketing and more.
Develop and measure key performance indicators, ensuring campaigns are impactful, accurately tracked, and their effectiveness clearly communicated across key stakeholders
5+ years of experience, either in marketing, consulting, corporate strategy, or related fields requiring quantitative analysis, including SEO and campaign development and evaluation. Ideal candidates have experience at a consumer-facing internet company.
Excellent SQL, MS Excel and Google Analytics skills with an attention to detail and data quality
Knowledge of Foursquare, and an ability to clearly understand and analyze our usage and growth drivers
Creative ideas to grow Foursquare, and the structured ability to execute them
Ideal candidates will have experience with Hive, Hadoop and clickstream analytics tools
Must be a self-motivated, team player and be able to work in a small, fast paced, exciting environment with or without oversight
Excellent communication, presentation, prioritization, and organizational skills
Extremely professional and positive demeanor
