THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Acquisition Marketing Specialist will help juggle Etsy?s multiple paid online channels, while staying on top of the always-evolving digital marketing landscape. Etsy is seeking an Acquisition Marketing Specialist to join the Marketing team. She/He will be responsible for day-to-day analysis, optimization, and execution of paid online marketing activities towards the team?s acquisition goals. This is an incredible opportunity to help Etsy grow its digital marketing strategy. This full-time position is based in Brooklyn, New York, and reports to the Acquisition Marketing Lead.
About the Team
The Marketing team at Etsy has a clear mission: to introduce new people to the Etsy marketplace and have them become loyal, repeat buyers. Using rigorous, internal research, we create targeted, integrated marketing campaigns across various offline and online channels to acquire, activate and retain engaged buyers.
About the Job
The Acquisition Marketing Specialist will help develop and manage:
SEM, Display, and Social Media campaigns, among others
Internal monitoring and reporting
Coordination with global digital marketing counterparts
You?re a go-getter who is not afraid to move quickly and is comfortable managing multiple channels at once. You?re passionate about online marketing and understand the landscape within channels. Ideally, you have experience in a fast-growth work environment, where you?ve learned to be resourceful and developed cross-functional relationships.
You will be successful in this role if you:
Have two years of experience with the campaign types listed above, managing substantial budgets to specific goals.
Have e-commerce experience and/or strong business acumen.
Thrive in a dynamic, less structured work environment, recognizing the right balance between independence and when additional input or support is necessary.
Have a high degree of intellectual curiosity for improving quantitative marketing performance.
Are comfortable using SQL (or excited to learn immediately).
Are proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables at a minimum).
Have experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Coremetrics, and Omniture
Have experience reporting to senior staff members.
