Ad Operations Analyst
New York, NY
The Ad Operations Analyst will manage all aspects of online sponsorship packages and ad campaigns on Recyclebank.com and partner sites. The analyst is responsible for: ad testing and implementation, campaign set up and delivery, and reporting of sales metrics. The position will report to the Ad Operations Manager and will work closely with the Account Management Team, Advertising Sales Team, Data Team & Finance. The role requires attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills and creative problem solving abilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Test, forecast, schedule and traffic online inventory (i.e. rich media ad units, rewards inventory, etc.)
- Track and analyze the performance of multiple advertising campaigns, including detailed performance reports (report generation) using internal and third party sources, as needed
- Ensure sponsorship product performance: calculating and monitoring effective value of individual campaigns to ensure they are optimized for Recyclebank and its advertising clients
- Process all insertion orders according to the contractual specifications determined by Ad Operations, Advertising Sales, Account Management and Finance
- Spearhead campaigns on time and without error
- Provide the data required to create inventory and revenue forecasting
- Support design & implementation of new sponsorship products, network relationships and strategy
- Test and modify Flash and HTML creative. Perform routine QA on live campaigns
- Provide ad-related technical support to internal and external customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to launch new sponsorship products and support existing products
- Ensure adherence to site tagging procedures and naming conventions as new content is added
- Work with internal finance team on revenue performance and proof within each live campaign
- Act as team expert on Salesforce, a Customer Relationship Management tool to measure revenue
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Strong quantitative and analytical abilities
- Background in systems-based operations a plus
- Expertise in all standard Windows Microsoft programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Superior time management skills and capacity to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to provide creative solutions
- Self-motivated and proactive with superior time management practices
- Ability and drive to work independently and in a team environment
- Flexibility and the ability to learn new skills quickly
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 1-2 years experience with online media sales industry
- Experience building complex data models in Excel
- Bachelor's Degree
