Ad Operations – Systems Manager Active Network

The ACTIVE Network is seeking a technical problem solver to manage a small team responsible for all first and third party advertising and email marketing technology.
This position interacts cross functionally with sales, account management, accounting, and the ad operations team to adapt SaaS solutions to meet their needs.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the subject matter expert for all advertising technology used by ACTIVE's ad operations team. Including, but not limited to, DFP, AdBook, Lyris and a proprietary inventory management solution
• Effectively analyze processes and drive new operational efficiencies with the online ad operations team
• Accurately translate the business needs into technical requirements for development teams.
• Troubleshoot and fix any issues that arise with any of the technology under your control.
• Coordinate and implement new advertising products with different brands and ensure that the workflow/systems are in place to support pre and post sales activities.
• Stay on top of the changing advertising technology marketplace and periodically review new capabilities and options available
• Liaison with various advertising technology vendors for new enhancements, issue resolution and integrations and new product testing and development.
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of online advertising technology experience in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role with proven ability to implement and improve processes thru the adaptation of SaaS solutions.
• 3+ years working in the email marketing space and in-depth knowledge of complexities of email deliverability.
• Basic comprehension of relational databases and programming concepts to enable effective communication with web and SQL developers on a one-on-one basis.
• A deep understanding of the ad serving and order management ecosystem
• Project Management experience is a must.
• Proficiency developing and managing process documentation
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving capabilities.
• Strong organizational, analytic and quantitative skills
• Extremely detail oriented
• Microsoft SQL Server experience a plus
