Federated Media Publishing is seeking a full-time Ad Operations Support Manager with a strong interest in internet advertising operations. This is a great opportunity for applicants with technical aptitude and a passion for independent blogging. Applicants of all experience levels are encouraged to apply.Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for first-tier publisher support of a network of 350+ bloggers, handling a wide variety of issues relating to internet advertising. Issues range from payment inquiries to website-related, ad serving issues.
Focus on resolving publisher ticket submissions in a timely manner according to clearly defined guidelines.
Lead new publishers through the on-boarding process and assist with product testing and integration.
Create and assign publisher ad units to appropriate product packages.
Assist the larger ad operations group with ongoing projects as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Ability to work proactively with all departments within an organization to resolve publisher issues.
Online publishing and/or technical support experience
Must be detail-oriented, exceptionally organized and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills a must.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
Experience in the following areas a plus:
Experience with online advertising in an operations capacity.
Experience with Zendesk or any other online support software packages.
Blogging experience with or understanding of the following major blog packages - WordPress, Drupal, etc.
Basic understanding of HTML, Flash and/or JavaScript
Experience with web troubleshooting tools such as Firebug, Chrome/Safari Inspector or Web Developer Tools
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Ad Trafficking
