Overview of Role

The viagogo Fan Rep Team provides an opportunity for Internet savvy sports fans to promote their favorite team while earning free tickets, prizes and commission on all ticket sales

As a viagogo Local Fan Rep, you will engage sports communities, both online (forums, blogs, chatrooms, etc.) and offline (friends, family) and assist us in providing fans with great tickets at literally unbeatable prices - think 250 tickets to see NBA/NHL/MLB/NFL games for 50 We are looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable people who love to talk about their favorite teams and generate a buzz. You will be given promotional tools to help in your sales efforts, along with premium access to fantastic, low-priced tickets to top sports events.

At the end of every month, you will be given a summary of all the sales that resulted from your efforts. You will then receive your choice of a commission check or viagogo rewards that can be applied toward free tickets to live events of your choice
The Person:

Passionate and knowledgeable about sports, music and entertainment
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Must have an active presence in online sports communities and social networks
An ability to engage potential customers and drive ticket sales using word of mouth
A desire to drive for results
A deep understanding of your local market

Responsibilities:

Promote viagogo tickets in forums, chatrooms, blogs and social networks
Develop and maintain relationships with viagogo customers in your area
Drive traffic and sales to viagogo.com using word of mouth and viral marketing techniques
Work with the viagogo Online Marketing department to strategically promote teams within your local market

Essential Experience/Skills:

Must be comfortable with email and standard office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
A solid understanding of online communities and best practices on how to leverage them for business
Experience with sports or event marketing is a plus

Ideal Candidates:

College student passionate about their favorite professional sports team
NHL, NBA and MLB fans looking to make extra money working from home
