Administrative Assistant Merrimack Pharmaceuticals
Merrimack Pharmaceuticals is a biopharmaceutical company discovering, developing and preparing to commercialize innovative medicines paired with companion diagnostics for the treatment of serious diseases, with an initial focus on cancer. Merrimack applies Network Biology, its proprietary systems biology-based approach to biomedical research, throughout the research and development process. Merrimack currently has six targeted therapeutic oncology candidates in clinical development.
This role will support our clinical development team, as well as various teams throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will be a smart, articulate, proactive, detail-orientated team player with a can-do attitude.
Expense management in Expense Watch - making sure charges get processed and all corresponding documentation is gathered and distributed
Travel booking both US and International - itinerary preparation and distribution to all relevant parties
Heavy calendar management in Outlook - always keeping aware of when conflicts arise, and ensuring all details are clear
Event planning - maintaining RSVP list, venue selection, printing/distribution of all materials if necessary, menu choice, and all AV arrangements
Internal and external meeting arrangement - calendar coordination with all invitees, ensuring that all relevant details (venue or dial in numbers) are distributed
Conference call/WebEx - planning and distribution of information to all relevant parties
Cross team coordination - Finance, HR, Facilities, Corporate Communications, Regulatory, IP, legal, etc.
High-level organizational skills, with an ability to multitask but also understand what the priorities are
Poise, tact, and discretion are a MUST, as well as cross cultural understanding and sensitivity
College degree preferred
Skilled with: PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, Excel
Familiarity with WebEx, Skype and/or Salesforce is a bonus
