Administrative Assistant Iora Health
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Overview:
Dartmouth College?s greatest asset is the population of employees who bring the organization to life. The College places enormous value on the health and wellbeing of its employee community and is eager to engage a large portion of its employees in health and wellness activities. The dedication to this endeavor has lead to the development of a number of innovative initiatives aimed at empowering employees to engage in efforts dedicated to their personal health.
The first of such is Dartmouth Health Connect, an adult primary care practice build for Dartmouth College employees and their dependents who receive health insurance through a Dartmouth College-sponsored health plan. Dartmouth Health Connect is an innovative practice that incorporates new models of patient care, staffing, payment and technology. Our model puts patients first, freeing providers from the constraints of traditional payment and staffing. Dartmouth Health Connect patients enjoy the benefits of improved access to care, non-office based encounters (e.g. phone and email), an accessible and transparent medical record, and robust educational offerings. At the heart of our staffing model is a team of health coaches who (in collaboration with physicians) help patients coordinate services, unlock personal motivation, and make healthy lifestyle changes. This care model and philosophy of care delivery has shown to dramatically improve the patient experience as well as the quality of clinical outcomes.
A second exciting new program recently launched under Dartmouth College?s Wellness Initiative is an employee-based Health Coaching Program, which leverages risk assessment and biometric screening to provide lifestyle-based counseling for its employees in a distributed way across campus.
Dartmouth College has engaged Iora Health, a rapidly growing primary care management services organization to oversee both programs.
We are currently seeking and Administrative Assistant to help run both Dartmouth Health Connect and the Dartmouth Health Coaching Program. This position will provide a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of each program while simultaneously assisting with the important work of helping individuals on their journey toward a healthier life.
