THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Administrative Assistant position is part-time (20 + hours a week). This position will assist with a variety of Administrative and Human Resource clerical and support activities. These duties will include, but are not limited to assisting with the coordination and support of company events and quarterly sales meetings, general office maintenance, scheduling meetings, completing employment verifications, maintaining records for use in benefits administration and conducting project work when assigned. It requires a high attention to detail and the ability to communicate well with Executives, employees, external customers and vendors. Responsible for the general coordination and support of quarterly Sales meetings.
Complete all employment verifications and regulatory surveys.
Schedule meetings and job interviews for candidates.
Upon request, will make travel arrangements for Executive staff and Management team.
Obtain food orders for office and coordinate food orders for meetings (must have reliable transportation).
Post open positions on designated job boards.
Assist with new employee processing and onboarding.
Will perform some receptionist duties.
Responsible for maintaining employee organizational chart.
Compile and maintain records for use in employee benefits administration.
Assist with the facilitation of the employee Anniversary Recognition Program and EWC Program.
General office maintenance (i.e. run postage meter, order flowers, sort and deliver mail, run errands).
Conduct project work as assigned.
Perform other job duties as assigned.
Ability to write business correspondence, analyze information related to specific assignments, business periodicals and governmental regulation.
Must be able to solve straightforward problems and seek guidance as needed.
Must have high attention to detail, ability to prioritize and organize assignments and handle high pressure situations.
Ability to communicate well with Executives, employees, external customers and vendors.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Requires a high school diploma and one to two years of related experience.
