Description: Our growing Cambridge-based software company, located in the thriving Kendall Square area, has an immediate opening for an energetic, bright Administrative/Marketing Assistant. Primary Responsibilities:
Perform reception duties, execute general administrative tasks, and coordinate corporate events
Answer incoming calls to the main company phone line
Assist the Marketing team with managing trade show preparations and our annual User Conference
Prepare & arrange shipment of correspondence/ packages for staff
Serve as liaison with building management
Maintain office equipment and inventory of office supplies
Help with data entry and customer database management as needed
Requirements:
1-2 years experience working in a professional office setting
College degree preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
A positive ?can do? and ?team player? attitude, with a willingness to step outside principal duties to help others accomplish tasks.
Ability to interface with all levels of staff and management
Familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook and other office applications
A desire be challenged and accept new responsibilities as the organization evolves
Candidates will be asked to demonstrate speaking and writing skills
