Advertiser Marketing Director Kontera Technologies, Inc.
About the position:The Director of Advertiser Marketing is responsible for supporting Kontera?s advertising sales force, packaging advertising products, introducing new media offerings to the market, and increasing Kontera?s awareness amongst Agencies and Brand Marketers.
Reporting to the EVP of Marketing this position requires a hands-on senior marketer who can function as a team leader, to effectively marshal matrixed supporting resources from creative, analysis, and the product teams, while also mentoring a small number of direct reports. The director must be self sufficient in crafting marketing messaging, and key marketing communications. The position is available in either New York City or San Francisco.
The ideal candidate is experienced in working with and supporting an on-line Media Sales organization. The candidate is also comfortable teaming with and advising Kontera?s sales leaders and the executive team. We are especially interested in demonstrated experience packaging new digital media offerings, and creating market awareness and momentum for new advertiser products and new markets.
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in marketing to agencies and brand marketers, as well as significant experience in at least one of the following areas of on-line advertising and marketing: Display Advertising, Mobile Advertising or Content Marketing.
Requirements:
? 5 Years of Marketing Experience with Internet companies
? 2 Years experience supporting an on-line media or advertising sales force
? Experience marketing to premier Brands and Ad Agencies.
? Proven track record in bringing new offerings to market and capturing significant share through thoughtful and methodical execution
? Entrepreneurial spirit, and comfort in a startup environment
? A Hands-on team member, comfortable in rolling up the sleeves, leading by example and working on deliverables
? Demonstrable track record of innovation and thinking outside-of-the-box
? Leadership experience and demonstrable leadership qualities
? A track record of increasing sales through both individual contribution and team leadership
? Undergraduate Degree
