AddThis is looking for an Ad Product Strategic Analyst that has a background in online advertising, the ability to understand the mindset of various types of consumers, solve problems down to the root cause, analyze quantitative measures, optimize performance across multiple audience products and maintains an understanding of how the web and ad serving works. This is a data-intensive position involving daily reporting and optimization leveraging multiple data points.Primary Responsibilities:
Analyze the behaviors of 1.3 billion global consumers to create the best possible social targeting campaigns
Monitor health of existing audiences, quickly optimize if any negative trends develop
Utilize our data mining and modeling technologies to create effective audiences
Identify, develop, test, and productize new audience solutions
Work with engineering team to develop and improve our suite of audience management tools.
Work with Sales, Account Management and Advertising Operations teams to ensure that our audience products are fully understood and implemented properly.
Manage, organize, and prioritize incoming audience-related communications. Identifies and improves upon any cross-team workflow issues.
Problem solve and break down issues to the root causes and map out immediate fixes as well as longer term systematic fixes
Translate complex, manual processes and activities to repeatable, scalable products
Required Skills/Experience:
Bachelor?s degree or related experience required
Excellent ability to associate words, phrases and topics. The ideal candidate is likely a top scorer in word-association games like Taboo. Literacy in multiple languages is a plus.
At least 1-2 years of Online Advertising experience using Atlas, DART or other leading online ad servers
Experience with ad trafficking, de-bugging, data collection, ad tags, ad platforms and working with external customers
Proven analytical skills with an established approach to quantitative analysis
Proven spreadsheet skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate quantitative numbers into recommended actions
Ability to work in a fast paced, startup environment
Organized with ability to work on multiple projects, issues, etc
Working html and javascript knowledge a plus
