Advertising Operations and Revenue Manager Wetpaint

The Advertising Operations and Revenue Manager will report directly to the COO and be responsible for several key areas of importance. Primary responsibility will be to maximize Wetpaint?s advertising revenue by managing a set of properties and working with advertising partners to implement campaigns across our network of 15M unique visitors and 90M page views per month. This position must work with several groups inside and outside Wetpaint, including external Advertising Sales (via an advertising rep partner), Product Development, and Publishing. Successful candidates will be able to wear many hats to drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Traffic & Campaign Management
Manage the relationship with our advertising rep partner in order to maximize Wetpaint revenue, and facilitate a positive and productive long-term relationship
Communicate directly with customers and our advertising rep partner on campaign custom content and social components. Focus efforts on feedback, enhancement, and add-on sales for clients.
Provide pre- and post-sales operations support to partner sales teams, including forecasting, pricing, special performance reports, and pacing where applicable.
Create and manage end to end process flow for ad operations with our advertising partner. Responsible for all campaign-related trafficking including proper setup, launch deadlines, QA, and troubleshooting.
Work with Product Development team to drive additional revenue via different page layouts and formats, and different consumer traffic patterns.
Partner Relationship Management
Manage ComScore and relationship with other 3rd party data providers.
Data Management & Reporting
Deliver actionable insights to manager with a focus on advertising revenue and ad optimization.
Reach expert status in analytical reporting suite allowing for the development of scalable reports focused on current business trends.
Monthly billing coordination with accounting team and partner invoicing.
Skills and Experience
5+ years of experience in Ad Operations involving ad taxonomy, transitioning ad servers, trafficking, and pacing campaigns. Must be knowledgeable in third party ad serving systems, technically savvy with various online advertising platforms, reports, & tools. Experience with DFP, Atlas, or similar Ad Servers is a must.
Experience working with content management systems and yield management providers (AdMeld, Rubicon, or Pubmatic).
Knowledge and experience in interacting with Advertising Sales professionals in devising sales plans and strategies.
Strong skill set in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Bachelor?s degree required with a preferred major in Business Administration, Advertising, Marketing or other analytically intensive studies.
