Central Product & Technology (CPT) is a newly created group with charter to build advertisers and publishers facing applications and reporting platforms, which would make it easy for advertisers to buy and target relevant inventory across channels and publishers to monetize their inventory. We are looking for world-class, fun-loving engineers to join our team and help build next generation of campaign management and reporting platform with best-in-class advertisers? experience.
Primary duties include:
Collaborating with Product Manager to understand user and functional requirements.
Participate in defining n-tier scalable architecture, which is easy to maintain, extend and operate
Architect and design modular components with well-defined interfaces
Build UI components as per designer specs to provide consistent look and feel
Build scalable reporting application and backend, which will drive business decisions
Building of tools and workflow, which will eliminate friction in doing the business
Building of data driven decision engine and automation around it to continuously optimize
CANDIDATE OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will be an inspiring and confident leader with at least:
BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, academic knowledge of Computer Science (algorithms, data structure etc)
1-2 years of software development experience
Strong experience building LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) applications
Experience with an MVC framework (Zend, CakePHP, CodeIgniter, Symfony, etc.) and building an n-tier web platform
Experience with Javascript/jQuery development
Experience with -nix tools and utilities
Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Able to make engineering assessment to fill in the gaps.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Strong team player.
Additional Qualifications a plus:
Experience building n-tier web application and platform
Experience with consumer oriented products and services
Experience with building large scale reporting and/or analytics platform
Experience with online advertising, especially advertisers facing products
Experience with agile development methodology
Experience with source code management systems (git, subversion, etc.)
