Pulse 360 is currently seeking an Advertising Agency Account Executive who will be responsible for selling Sponsored Link, Display, and Retargeting Advertising on the Pulse 360 network and CPA/CPL Lead Generation on our Pulse 360 and CPA networks. Pulse 360 specializes in Direct Response advertising, with a new emphasis in Brand advertising. The position can be based in any major Mid-Atlantic, Northeastern or Midwestern city, and reports to the Vice President of Sales. S/he will work closely with the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing and Vice President of Sales in selling advertising programs to Mid Tier Direct Response, Digital and Full Service Agencies in the Mid West or North East Territories.
Responsibilities Include:
Deliver/exceed monthly revenue goals
Developing and managing lead lists consistent with product marketing plans and target markets
Manage ongoing relationships with clients including regular communication, analysis of data related to their account, monitoring success of their sales campaigns, and advising them on how to optimize those campaigns
Translating campaign objectives and target audience criteria into Pulse 360 network requirements
Proactively prospect and close new business from clients in territory
Weekly reporting on all sales activities and initiatives within territory
Quarterly sales plan updates and reviews w/management
Day-to-day collaboration with account management; ad ops; business planning; in all aspects of sales strategy, planning, deal packaging, program execution and renewal
Travel Required
Ideal candidate will possess:
BA/BS degree, specialization in Marketing or Communications preferred. MBA with concentration in Marketing highly desirable
5 - 10+ years media or advertising sales experience. Internet media experience highly preferred. Will also accept sales experience in other marketing service industries
Solid grasp of B2B sales, territory management and large account management processes
Solid understanding of Advertising or Advertising Agency industry
Understanding of communications theory, performance marketing and internet advertising
Proven history of meeting/exceeding revenue goals
Strong strategic selling skills with ability to drive, prioritize, and deliver revenue objectives
Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation skills.
