AGILE BUSINESS ANALYST NetSpend
This individual will work with members of an agile development team as a Business Analyst/Scrum Master to execute projects from inception through production release and ongoing support. S/he will complete projects and implement solutions that build upon Netspend?s financial services platform. S/he will be hands-on and involved in all phases of a development project, from analysis and requirements to functional design to documentation, testing and implementation. The selected candidate will often be involved in multiple initiatives and will work closely with multiple internal teams, including Application Development, Product Management, Marketing, and IT Operations.
Work with team members to complete all tasks throughout the project lifecycle, including the following:
Participate in stakeholder meetings to gather and define business requirements
Analyze business requirements to present findings to internal teams and work with Scrum team to identify implementation solutions
Act as Scrum Master for an agile development team
Develop detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, screen mock-ups, flow diagrams, etc. outlining the solution to be implemented
Act as point of contact for the SMEs for all requirements related issues
Assist QA with internal test preparation by creating test cases, test conditions, and test data
Assist QA with internal test execution, inclusive of documenting results, tracking defects, and trouble-shooting defects and issues that arise out of testing
Plan, coordinate, and execute User Acceptance Tests
Create and/or update client-facing documentation to support new releases
Learn Netspend platform functionality at a detailed and technical level
At least 5+ years of Business Analyst or Management Consulting experience
Experienced in Agile/Scrum methodology, and the development of associated project artifacts (i.e., user stories, acceptance criteria). Scrum Master Certification highly desirable.
Experience in the development of web user interfaces. Web-IVR experience highly desirable.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experienced in facilitating meetings and discussions with external and internal teams
Detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple work efforts with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to build rapport and interact effectively with all levels and areas of an organization
College Degree is required (MIS or CS preferred)
Knowledge of the following areas is a plus:
Financial services industry
J2EE enterprise applications, mobile applications
Ability to grow into a functional development manager role.
