Create and maintain the Product Backlog, based on stakeholders? and customers? business needs and requirements.
Prioritize and sequence the Backlog according to business value or ROI.
Assist with the elaboration of Epics, Themes and Features into user stories and responsibility to help the scrum team understand exactly what is required.
Conceptualize customers? needs and business requirements and communicate to the rest of the team, by developing high level product design wire frames, user interface concepts and mockups to convey functional requirements.
Convey the Vision and Goals at the beginning of every Release and Sprint.
Represent the customer, interface and continuously engage the customer and stakeholders to ensure the team is building the right product and delivering the ROI expected of it.
Participate in the daily Scrums, Sprint Planning Meetings and Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
Inspect the product progress at the end of every Sprint and ensure that the team is developing a product that meets stakeholders? expectations.
Become the voice of the team to the outside world and should ensure that all channels of communications are open and that projects have the right amount of support required to succeed.
Providing support to all other internal groups, such as Customer Support, Sales, Training, Consulting and Professional Services.
Perform market research, monitor competitive activity, and identifying customer needs.
Enforce corporate product standards for all products as related to user interface, product styles, and graphical standards by participating in product reviews during the development process.
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Product Owner in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Experience in Social Media, Social Networking and Social Business networking is highly desired.
Experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Project Management, Cost Management, Facilities Management, Asset Management, Maintenance Management, and Corporate Real Estate Management, is also desirable.
Proven and documented experience managing web-based SaaS products.
Knowledge of enterprise software applications, preferably CRM, Project Management, Asset Management or Collaboration solutions is a plus.
Ability to interpret customer and market needs into product features and functions, that can benefit all customers and provide a competitive advantage
Proven ability to transform customer needs and business requirements into software solutions with ability to successfully communicate and document desired behavior, by developing high level product design wire frames, user interface concepts and mockups to convey functional requirements.
Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
Excellent leadership, communication, written and verbal presentation skills are a must.
Good negotiation, networking and intercultural skills.
BA/BS degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Computer Science or Marketing.
