One of our most critical roles, the Salesforce Alliance Engagement Director drive success with one of our most strategic alliances at DocuSign. A significant portion of DocuSign's Go to Market strategy focuses on driving sales opportunities to and from the Salesforce ecosystem, it broadens our reach into sales opportunities at the Commercial and Enterprise business level. Working in close partnership with Salesforce.com and selected ecosystem partners you ensure we have the right relationships, business plans, programs, structure and ultimately opportunity and revenue pipeline. Driving pipeline from the Salesforce ecosystem and orchestrating opportunities with our direct sales team will be your number one priority. You will ?own? the revenue target for our DocuSign for Salesforce product line.
Essential Job Functions:
- Be a driving force in the success of the company?s goals and objectives
- Responsible for meeting and exceeding assigned revenue quotas for the DocuSign for Salesforce product line and the Salesforce.com ecosystem Go to Market
- Responsible for managing and growing pipeline with selected ecosystem partners, maximizing short term revenue, building future sales pipeline through demonstrated account and territory planning
- Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement in Salesforce.com at a management level
- Develop and deliver customized demonstrations, by phone and face-to-face
- Ability to work with a sales engineering team and other areas of DocuSign in closing complex Straight Through Processing opportunities at the C-Level.
- Partner with other members of the DocuSign Business Development teams in identifying other opportunities outside your core product portfolio
- Capable of closing software contracts and services both programmatically to SMBs, across use cases within Commercial and Enterprise Accounts from small deals all the way up to $1M+
- Fully understand and clearly articulate the benefits of DocuSign for Salesforce across market segments and vertical use cases
- Manage time, including learning product functionality, qualifying prospects, customizing and giving demos, completing follow-up work, and writing and coordinating proposals.
- You will be expected to display initiative, self-motivation and deliver high quality work while at the same time, meeting all deadlines for both internal and external customers
- Maintains broad knowledge of DocuSign for Salesforce products and their capabilities versus the strengths/weaknesses of competitive products/solutions
- Willing and able to travel 25% - 50%
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Candidate Qualifications:
Education, Experience & Training required
- Experience at Salesforce.com or at least one of Salesforce?s top partners is a must
- A demonstrable extensive network of Cloud industry relationships, especially within the Salesforce ecosystem and at saleforce.com
- An Achiever! Consistent quota attainment selling technology services
- Multiple years selling software and services; experience selling/marketing SaaS a significant advantage
- Quantifiable sales track record demonstrated by increasing responsibilities, growth in National/International Partner exposure and revenue
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong customer/partner references
- Strong knowledge of Software as a Service and pricing and promotion models
- Ability to deal well with ambiguity and an evolving organizational structure
- Able to drive results across organizational lines and manage resources without direct authority
- Ability to be a strong individual contributor or a player/coach
- Ability to present proposals persuasively
- Excellent Team skills
- Excellent customer/partner focus, strong attention to detail and ability to operate in a dynamic sales organization required
