Perform semiconductor engineering design, development, and testing for firm software products and devices in conjunction with hardware product development for the electronic communications industry. In connection with such duties, implement new engineering assignments including engineering and designing chip layout circuits, circuit checking, documenting specifications, and modifying and evaluating semiconductor devices and components. Plan, organize and conduct technical projects within the areas of testing methods, device specification, and yield problems; will perform redesign of devices, components, or integrated circuitry for hardware and other systems; and will review product requirements and logic diagrams for device definition. Coordinate methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products to ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and customer requirements. Operate computer-assisted engineering and will design software and equipment to perform design engineering tasks and new test programs and procedures. Confer with customers and other departments on design status, processing, testing and technical issues, and failure analysis, and monitor production of products and devices to ensure conformance to design specifications. Apply principles and knowledge of development, characterization, and testing of electrical circuits for data evaluation of MEMS reliability.
Requires M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, plus 2 years of experience as Analog Design Engineer, Design Engineer, Project Engineer, or Engineering Intern. In the alternative, employer will accept B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, plus 5 years of post-bachelor experience as Analog Design Engineer, Design Engineer, Project Engineer, or Engineering Intern.
Requires experience with development, characterization, and testing of electrical circuits for data evaluation of MEMS reliability.
