About the Job
We are currently seeking a proactive and self-motivated Analyst to work in our Wheaton, IL office. This position is responsible for acquiring participation in utility sponsored energy efficiency programs from contractors, distributors, manufacturers, vendors, A&E firms and other community stakeholders throughout Illinois and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be leading, assist with managing, and conducting trade-ally outreach, and customer outreach activities for utility-sponsored energy efficiency programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Identify potential energy savings strategies and projects.
Deliver effective customer presentations and respond to questions and inquiries from industry professionals in an accurate and timely manner.
Coordinate and assist with trade ally management.
Be a key resource for trade allies who leverage the rebate programs to promote and sell energy efficiency to commercial customers.
Conduct training seminars to educate stakeholders on rebate program logistics, technologies and new developments in the marketplace.
Identify and focus on market segments capable so as to maximize energy savings with the most efficient and cost effective approach.
Conduct installation inspections and identify/educate trade allies on areas of improvement.
Work with team to provide support to various program activities including measure research, customer identification, application and invoicing review.
Establish and maintain a professional client rapport, including identifying and anticipating client needs and proposing solutions.
Maintain an active project pipeline to assure goals and objectives are consistently met.
Promptly and accurately address client concerns to assure problem resolution and promote long-term productive relationships. Understand the organization and decision-making process in order to work with stakeholders in determining project eligibility, schedule and potential energy savings.
Communicate and coordinate project activities.
Consistently meet or exceed program expectations related to sales, marketing, communication, client satisfaction and other key performance indicators.
BS/BA degree is required, or commensurate demonstrated direct experience
3+ years? experience working in professional sales, account management, marketing, business management or project management
Technical and marketplace expertise in commercial and/or industrial mechanical systems, electrical, architectural, HVAC, or other building systems a plus
Superior time management and organizational capabilities, including the ability to deliver on deadlines and manage a high volume workload.
Superior customer relations and interpersonal skills are required
Excellent written and oral communications are essential
Planning, organization and self-management in a professional environment are desired
Ability to communicate concepts at all levels of an organization
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required
