Analyst - Client Strategy Campus Explorer

Campus Explorer is a rapidly growing, venture-backed internet startup located in Santa Monica, CA that is dedicated to building the web?s premier college search and resource site, offering students a suite of interactive, personalized services that enable them to be more organized and informed in their college search. We are looking for a numbers-oriented analyst to help optimize our client strategy and serve as the analytical anchor of the Client Services team. The Analyst ? Client Strategy position will report directly to the SVP of Business Development and Client Services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Gaining a robust understanding of inventory and how it relates to our website?s monetization
Analyzing historical performance to determine appropriate inventory levels
Identifying inventory imbalances and reporting to management in a timely manner
Provide operational analytics support for strategic business initiatives and business process improvement as directed by management
Utilizing Excel and PowerPoint to analyze and present client data to senior management
Analyzing client conversion rates
Deliver work that meets high standards of quality, accuracy, and relevance

JOB REQUIREMENTS

0-1 year of work experience/internships in an analytical role
Bachelor?s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or other quantitative field
Organized, detail-oriented personality with the ability to multi-task in an entrepreneurial environment
Intermediate-level MS Excel (e.g., vlookup, sumifs, etc) and PowerPoint skills
Comfort performing analyses to distill and draw out insights from complex data sources
Ability to work well and build rapport with individuals at all levels of the organization
A positive ?can-do? attitude with a willingness to learn
