Zipcar is looking to add an Analyst to the Financial Planning and Analysis team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial data, projections and analysis to support management in decision making and achieving profit and revenue growth targets.
Day-to-day responsibilities will vary, and are not represented in their entirety:
Work with Business Units to support performance improvement decisions
Analyze historical trends and current operating metrics to identify actionable insights
Prepare financial analysis for ad-hoc projects using financial modeling techniques
Contribute to the preparation of Zipcar?s annual operating plan and monthly forecasts
Produce reports and visual representations of data for senior management
Strong analytical skills as well as the ability to present information clearly and concisely
Expertise in MS Excel to include financial modeling
Ability to organize, meet strict deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team
Highest standards of accuracy and precision
Bachelor?s degree in finance, accounting, economics or other quantitative major
Minimum of 2-4 years? experience in corporate finance, budgeting or analytics role
Prior experience working with large datasets and statistical packages a plus
