Responsibilities:
This independent self-starter will provide support for the Oracle E-Business Suite Financial system. Primary responsibility is to resolve production incidents and issues and work closely with Functional Teams to resolve not only technical issues but functional setup and processes where required. Senior and Lead Support Analysts will provide guidance and training to the Support Analyst on a day to day basis.
This person will be responsible for the following:
Working the Help Desk tickets and issues via the Incident Management process
Assist the functional, development and operational team members to resolve issues
Resolve customer issues submitted, via Help Desk Service Now
Work closely with Oracle Development team as outlined in the migration process for moves from DEV to UAT to Production or Production Support to Production, if required.
Research, identify patches or other Oracle solutions and manage via the inComm Oracle Patch Process.
Additional responsibilities:
Work with functional staff to resolve their issues
Work with functional staff to understand their needs and represent those support needs to the development and operations teams
Provide input on review of new applications and review BR100s, MD050s, MD070s when needed
Provide input into code releases
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 to 2 years? experience with Oracle ERP Financials R12 in a support role is preferred.
Previous experience in at least 2 to 3 of the following modules, GL, AP, AR, PO, INV & CM modules (R12) is required.
Previous experience in one or more of the following modules, PA, FA, iExp, iProc, OM or Advanced Pricing a plus
Some experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle 8i/9i/10G, Oracle Discoverer (10G), required
Knowledge of Oracle Alerts, Workflow and Concurrent Manager a plus
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to functional users using the appropriate level of detail is critical.
Experience with interface creation and support via EDI and Oracle API a plus.
Customer service focused with the ability to effectively organize tasks, manage multiple priorities/details, meet schedules, and deliver on customer commitments.
Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Must be available for after-hours support, especially during month end closing
BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
