We are looking for a highly motivated Analyst, Research and Insights, who approaches analysis as a path to strategic thinking and problem-solving. Breakthrough creative units, and market leading targeting and optimization technologies are worth nothing if they don?t deliver results for our advertisers. This person should thrive in a fast-paced environment and have impeccable attention to detail.
The Insights team validates Undertone?s success through first-party data analysis and third-party research expertise. The team helps to bridge the gap between pre-sale and post-sale by partnering with Sales & Marketing to support our core value proposition and Client Services & Performance to ensure campaign success.
Work with the Client Services and Performance teams to create measurement plans and determine optimal metrics for campaign effectiveness
Work closely with the Publisher team and Sales team to communicate UT campaign metrics through the appropriate lens
Lead 3rd party research opportunities primarily at campaign level, including vendor identification (i.e., Vizu, Dynamic Logic, comScore, Nielsen, Ipsos, etc.), overseeing operational set-up, and analysis
Build and present campaign reports to external clients as required
Support the pre-sales process by providing insights on key demographic audiences through custom syndicated research analyses
Evaluate potential new research partners and expand insights offerings to support the sales organization
Support Undertone?s value proposition by contributing to company thought leadership initiatives
Assist in benchmarking of client campaigns and overall Undertone performance across a variety of metrics
2+ years of relevant working experience in digital insights, analytics and/or research
Bachelors degree in marketing/advertising, statistics, mathematics, business or related field; advanced degree a plus
Excellent data analysis skills and experience working with multiple data-sets
Digital media domain knowledge with working understanding of industry research tools (e.g. comScore, Vizu, Nielsen, etc.)
Experience with 3rd party ad serving platforms, such as DoubleClick and Atlas, and rich media vendors preferred
Strong understanding of MS Power Point and Excel; ability to turn data/results into a story
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a very strong attention to detail
Hands on experience with media planning tools
