The Analytical Chemist will perform complex analytical testing, method development, and/or method validation using primarily liquid chromatography (HPLC) along with other instrumental techniques. The individual will be involved in both qualitative and quantitative testing of raw materials, intermediates, API and final drug products associated with novel human pharmaceutical projects in development.Qualifications/Skills:
The Analytical Chemist must have experience in drug development analytics and possess strong communication and collaboration skills. In addition to demonstrated experience with HPLC method development, the ideal candidate will have experience with LC/MS, GC, UV/Vis, NMR, CHN elemental analysis, IC and/or chiral chromatography of pharmaceutical samples. Conducts work in compliance with cGMP, safety and regulatory requirements.
Education and/or experience equivalent of a BS/MS degree in chemistry or related field. BS 8+ or MS 5+ years of experience in a pharmaceutical analytical laboratory setting.
