Responsibilities:
The position will play a lead role in designing and implementing the new NICE Analytics platform that enables Fortune 500 companies uncover insights and perform root cause analysis across the business lifecycle. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment. The candidate will be an individual contributor and report to the Director of Engineering.
Primary Responsibilities
? Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to clearly understand business objectives, customer needs, and product requirements
? Translate requirements to technical solutions
? Help design and build (out-of-the-box) content to ensure rapid deployment of NICE?s new Analytics platform to accelerate speed to insight
Requirements:
? 3+ years of software development experience working for commercial software companies
? Demonstrated experience in building large-scale enterprise applications
? Experience with BI tools such as Business Objects, MicroStrategy and/or Cognos
? High proficiency in SQL, Java, JSP, HTML and JavaScript
? Solid understanding of relational database concepts; firsthand experience with OLAP and data warehousing concepts/methodologies
? Great verbal and oral communication skills
? Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
? Readiness to work and collaborate with remote teams
? Comfortable working in a Linux development environment
? Experience in one or more of the following are pluses: Hadoop, cloud computing, Mobile platform
Education:
? Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related fields; advanced degree a plus
