As an Analytics engineer , you will have the chance to design and build the next Analytics platform of the hottest web discovery and personalized recommendations startup. You will build distributed systems that can do offline batch as well as real time Analytics.
Requirements:
Experience in working with very large datasets.
Experience in building distributed systems
Programming skills in Java/Scala
Hadoop or other comparable MapReduce experience.
Object Oriented Design experience
Nice-to-Have's:
Startup experience.
Strong mathematical and statistical background.
Experience in working with HBase.
Experience in Hive /Pig/Cascading
Proficiency in popular scripting languages like Python, Perl or Ruby.
Experience in working with log aggregation systems like Kafka/ Flume/ Scribe
