Android Developer (Contract to Hire) Edupoint Educational Systems

We are currently seeking an experienced Android Developer for a contract to hire position. This position will develop mobile applications for multiple targeted Android OS form factors. JOB DUTIES:
Follow coding standards created by Edupoint
Thoroughly unit test code changes
Participate in receiving and giving peer code reviews
Provide feedback to management on status of job tasks
Track high priority issues until client resolution is confirmed
Provide status updates to management on the major milestones of high priority issues
Participate in design sessions
Deliver work needed on large development projects including the writing of functional specification documents
Assist with product demonstrations
Mentor other developers in Android framework as needed
C# experience a plus
JOB REQUIREMENTS-KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
5+ years of Java development experience.
2+ years of Android mobile application development.
Exhibit solid judgment making, organizational, project management, and communication skills.
2+ years of experience with consuming data from XML/JSON Web Services.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
