Our mobile applications empower users to find their friends, places, deals around them in the moment. We connect people to their friends and to the places they care about. Loopt is on iPhone, Android, and Windows Phone 7.
Were looking for a strong, passionate mobile developer to help us expanding our Android application. You will be working with a small team that cares about building great products.
Responsibilities
Involved in the entire application development process, from product conception, design, development, and release.
Develop features from the data layer up through UI layer and everything in between.
Provide assessments on new technologies and how to use them to expand and polish the existing application.
Required Skills
Strong computer fundamentals and skilled Java Engineer.
Experience with mobile development and know Android SDK.
Experience with jumping into existing architecture or starting projects from ground up.
Capable of building quick prototypes, and familiar with agile development process.
Cool but Not Necessary
Ability to quickly pick up new technology, tools.
Have an eye for design.
Familiarity with other mobile platforms such as iOS.
