Position SummaryPassenger is seeking a mobile Android developer to support our app development team. As a developer you will work closely with our VP of Engineering and product designers to drive the completion and expansion of our SAAS mobile platform. This is a 1-2 month FT contracting position with the opportunity for on-going work assignments based on job performance.
Requirements
Technical Skills Needed:
? Experience with Android APIs and Frameworks
? 2+ years experience in mobile application development
? Fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
? Proficiency in, at least, one modern object-oriented language such as Java, C/C++.
Other Requirements:
? Experience building complex Android Apps that have been successfully delivered to customers ? please provide examples
? Ability to grasp current code-base and move forward with verbal direction.
? Exceptional analytical aptitude and attention to detail
? Good organizational and problem solving skills
? Good team player who is self motivated and well organized
? Strong oral and written communication skills
? Available to work on-site with team.
Desired but not required:
? Experience with SVN, MySQL, XML, JSON and Web Services
