The Company seeks an experienced professional to assume the role of Animal Technician. This is an intermediate, full-time position with no supervisory responsibilities based at our offices in Bothell, WA.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills; have the ability to work independently as well as within a team; and be able to exercise good judgment in decision-making. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to understand and follow SOPs are vital to this position.

The Animal Technician position is responsible for technical aspects of a contract research animal facility including the daily care of research animals, dosing, obtaining body weights, and other study related procedures.

Candidate must be willing to have a flexible work schedule, including occasional weekends and holidays. Some travel may be required.

The qualified candidate will possess the following:

AALAS Certification recommended.
GLP experience in working in a contract research animal facility.
