AP/AR Accountant Seven Seas Water

The AP/AR Accountant performs day to day accounts payable and accounts receivable accounting tasks at the corporate office in Tampa, Florida. The Accountant is responsible for processing accounts payable and accounts receivable for multiple locations, including intercompany and multi-company transactions. In addition, the Accountant is responsible for preparing payroll information for our multiple locations. The position requires a capacity to multi-task in a multi location, entrepreneurial, team-oriented, high-growth environment.

Essential Accounting Functions

- Accounts payable: Vouchering purchases (3 way match)
- Vendor account reconciliation
- Accounts receivable; invoicing, cash application, account reconciliation
- Performing basic payroll functions
- Core report generation

Essential Qualifications

- Associate?s degree required, bachelor degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting preferably in a job cost, manufacturing or distribution with multiple operating locations.
- Excellent computer skills preferably with a market leading ERP system (Oracle, SAP, Edwards, IFS).
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must be able to multi-task and interact in a collaborative fashion in a high growth business environment characterized by frequent ad hoc demands and changing and competing priorities.
- Successful candidate will be a team player who is detail oriented, well organized and persistent in resolving issues.
