WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT YOU GET TO DO!
We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced API Support Engineer with exceptional communication and technical skills to assist partners utilizing our 200+ API methods to build and support a successful dynamic applications. You will act as the lead resource for the external developers, helping them to build solutions and provide technical product expertise. To accomplish this you will:
Become an expert in the features and benefits of our platform and become the go-to expert on our API methods
Support the sales teams communication with prospective customers assisting and guiding through the evaluation of our APIs
Propose and/or design technical solutions, which could include mock-ups and documented work flows
Provide proactive support to partners building applications on the Booker Platform
Deliver web-based demos as needed for strategic accounts to support their development initiatives
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO COME TO THE TABLE WITH:
BA/BS Degree (Computer Science/Engineering majors preferred)
Ability to write sample API calls in multiple language is a plus
Familiarity with JSON, SOAP and XML APIs and web services
Experience developing against APIs using REST concepts
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
High level of customer service ability
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Experience writing clear and accurate design specifications
Ability to work individually and within a highly collaborative team setting
Experience with multiple development platforms
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast paced environment
Must be able to travel 10 - 20% of the time
