What:AppFirst is conducting a summer coding and design competition! Get paid to compete in this summer internship in Minneapolis, MN. Work hard in a fun environment and win an all expense paid trip to New York City for yourself plus one!
Competition involves applying your presentation ideas to the AppFirst big data platform. We are looking for interesting and innovative ideas for interactively presenting lots of information.
We?ve got the technology, our customers have the data, you?ve got the ideas and abilities, let?s put them together and in the end, everybody wins.
Who:
Multiple programmers and UX/UI Designers with innovative minds who have a passion and ability to write code and are currently enrolled in a computer science or other technical program. While you?ll be working with our data and APIs, all programming languages are welcome.
Where:
Join the AppFirst development team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. You?ll get to experience an open startup development environment near the Mall of America with access to a fully stocked kitchen, 9-ball, movie marathons and a short light rail ride to Target Field.
When:
Summer 2013. Hence, ?Summer? and ?2013? in the title.
Why:
For money of course.
Can you put a price on experience? Probably.
Interns can expect to make $16 an hour, in addition to getting an introduction to the big data startup world, wonderful work experience and references, and the chance to win a week-long all expense paid trip to New York City for themselves plus one.
