The successful candidate will be Responsible for renewing Tripwire appliance, hardware and subscription renewal service customers by telephone, email and web Worldwide!
Key Responsibilities & Duties
? Make 25+ customer contacts per day, targeting at least 20 outbound calls and 20 emails.
? Target at least 2+ hours per day on the phone with clients.
? Produce and execute on regional renewal prospecting plan to drive pipeline and maximize highest and best use of Rep time.
? Generate appliance, hardware and subscription renewal revenues Worldwide, working with Inside, Field, Partner and Reseller Sales Representatives in an effort to leverage selling efforts
? Prospect, qualify and develop opportunities, close sales, take orders, and prepare appropriate documentation.
? Provide renewal quotes for existing customers whose support contracts are due to expire or have expired.
? Keep sales team updated on high value customer and key accounts.
? Prepare and perform high quality web presentations to qualified opportunities where needed..
? Handle inquiries generated through web, email and other marketing programs.
? Expand knowledge of industry as well as the competitive posture of the company.
? Prepare activity and forecast reports as requested, maintain accurate and up to date pipeline within CRM.
? Continually update and maintain Salesforce.com database as appropriate.
? Assist sales management in conveying customer needs to product managers and technical support staff.
? All other duties as assigned.
Under general direction, resolves a wide range of diverse problems utilizing personal judgment and experience to develop solutions in a creative manner. Interacts with employees at all levels of the organization and takes personal responsibility for meeting the needs of the customer while demonstrating an understanding of business objectives.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
? College coursework required - BA or BS preferred.
? Two to four years sales experience in the software, security, appliance/hardware or related high-tech industry.
? Proven track record of quota and goal achievement.
? Able to provide high degree of major account management and control.
? Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team oriented atmosphere.
? Strong written/verbal communications skills.
? Domain specific knowledge of large corporate IT environments including basic understanding of client/server computing, networking, appliance and security.
? Strong sales process with analytical detail with attention to metrics.
? Advanced use of PC and Microsoft Office programs.
? Expertise using Salesforce.com and web-based conferencing systems is desirable.
