Application Support Analyst
The Active Network located in Carmel, Indiana is looking for an Application Support Analyst to join our team! You may be a new graduate looking to enter the world of information technology, or have some experience and/or a technical orientation. We are looking for an employee for a full time position. The Application Support Analyst's role is to deliver support to our clients using Active software; the goal is to ensure the clients are efficiently and effectively fulfilling their business objectives when using our technology. This position includes troubleshooting applications, resolving issues, answering questions and giving tutorials on product functionality as well as providing excellent customer service support to our clients. Proven communication skills and problem-solving skills are critical to successful performance in this role.
Responsibilities
â-ºProvide first level phone/email support to customers our customers
â-ºTroubleshoot, analyze problems, answer questions and provide training about the software
â-ºIdentify workarounds for bugs and test fixes provided by technology team
â-ºProvide regular updates to customers on open support issues
â-ºAssist in editing of training materials and manuals
â-ºEducate and explain features and functionality to clients via phone and email
â-ºWork with customers and technical groups to resolve issues
â-ºProvide feedback to the development team on issues pertaining to the system
â-ºLog all communications and essential information into an internal database on a daily basis
â-ºWork with Implementation Analysts and Sales as needed to ensure clients' needs are met
Perform on-call duties during holidays, nights, and weekends as needed
â-ºTake on additional special projects as needed
â-ºPreferred knowledge of databases and SQL queries
Requirements
â-ºExcellent communication skills including the ability to communicate in a professional, polite and articulate manner, both verbally and in writing, with both unskilled and highly-skilled PC users
â-ºAbility to learn quickly and adapt to change
â-ºDemonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
â-ºDemonstrated ability to work independently with little direct supervision
â-ºDemonstrated ability to be resourceful and think creatively
â-ºSelf-motivated, detail-oriented and organized
â-ºTechnical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new technology
â-ºAdept in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
â-ºProficient with Web Browsers, FTP and email
