Application and Deployment Technician Consorte Media

This is a key role supporting technical operations for Audience Science. The position coordinates application and infrastructure releases. This includes evaluating risk and evaluating the viability of engineering deliverable prior to releasing into production. Responsibilities also include developing core operational processes to include design, implementation and key performance metrics.

Essential functions:

Manage application changes with a focus on coordinating with Operations.
Working directly with Operations; ensure consistent, high quality engineering changes from internal Infrastructure Engineering, QA and Software Development teams.
Identify and recommend end to end process improvements.
Receive requirements from Tier 1 Operations and coordinate with internal engineer teams for implementation.
Support on-call rotation in support of 24x7 AudienceScience production applications.
Under direction, develop consistent processes and deliver quality across all applications.
Collect and report data to manage key operational metrics.

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

Four year degree or equivalent experience.
Ability to understand, develop and implement operational processes.
High technical aptitude and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Project management skills.

Experience with at least some of the following:

ITIL foundation.
Process development.
RACI principles.
Modern ticketing systems.
Working effectively with remote teams.
Documentation and knowledge transfer.
