Application Engineer will take the initiative to help innovative application by providing input to improve designs. This position will lead and provide supervision oversight for 2-4 developers. Candidates need to be able to build and create Web Services, objects, classes, and architecture proposals accordingly by understanding architecture documentation. Application Engineer should also be familiar with the uses of GSM, SQL management Studio, SQL Profiler, fiddler, Visual studio debugger, Source Control, and Project Structure. Candidates will have an understanding of all transaction tiers to be able to assist research and fix large defects. Application Engineer will collaborate and coordinate projects with industry partners, other internal Greenway teams and departments, while effectively working with R&D support liaisons and Database developers to build a complete solution.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities include but are not limited to:
? 6-10 years of software development experience with Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or other related field of study Or 12+ years of software development experience without a degree
? Must have experience working with Microsoft Technologies
? Solid management skills including experience providing guidance and oversight to less experienced developers
? Act with a sense of urgency and prioritize accordingly
? Solid written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively at all levels and across various departments as well as partners and at times, directly with customers
? Solid experience and understanding with full product Software Development Life Cycle
? Must have strong web services experience including web application architecture, implementation and deployment
? WCF and TFS are strongly preferred
? SQL Server 2008; Windows Identity Foundation; Service Oriented Architecture; Healthcare background and experience with Agile development are preferred, but not required
? Successful candidates must have a demonstrated high level of integrity
? Be self-motivated with a commitment to success of the business
? Have proven creative problem solving skills
