Application Support Analyst Alert Logic

The Application Support Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day handling of the application issues for production systems, including tasks related to identifying and troubleshooting application issues and communicating around resolution or escalation. You will support SaaS web applications running on Linux, MySQL, PhP, C++, Perl, and Erlang.

In this role, you will need to:
Serve as the Problem Management escalation point from Incident Management
Coordinate problem resolution between teams and departments
Communicate proactively at the appropriate level (business, customer, technical)
Believe in issue ownership, from identification through resolution
Proactively identify and resolve issues.
Quickly learn how Alert Logic?s products are used by our customers.
Participate in daily Production Support Scrum meetings
Required Skills:
Basic understanding of ITIL
Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to triage issues and provide initial debugging.
Excellent follow-through skills
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel. You will need to create pivot tables & pivot charts.
Understanding of various kinds of technical infrastructure: (Servers, databases, networks, switches, SANs, VMs, etc.)
Understanding of software development project lifecycles
To be highly accurate in your work
Clear and concise written and verbal communication
History of successfully working in a team-based environment
Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal and communication skills
Must be willing to be occasionally available outside of normal business hours for emergency change activities
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Desired Skills:
Computer or Business related undergraduate degree highly desired. Spanish fluency a plus.
