Responsibilities: Provide escalated support by investigating and resolving complicated business application issues and their related systems Develop expert understanding of technical and business process flow for applications and provide recommendations for improvement Provide appropriate communication, facilitate bringing other parties together, and complete post resolution reporting for high severity incidents Participate in Development efforts, provide input for future requirements, and inform Service Desk or others of Release Notes and any known issues Execute deployment procedures into Staging and Production environments with appropriate validation Setup, configure, maintain and monitor assigned business application(s) and related systems Develop and maintain effective relationships with 3rd Party partners Receive and manage afterhours alerts Liaison between Development and Service Desk teams Perform project management tasks as assigned Provide appropriate quality assurance testing Provide assistance in revision control process between Development, Stage and Production systems Provide after-hours or weekend maintenance as neededMay specialize in a specific business application grouping Problem resolution including root cause analysis Not limited to the above roles and responsibilities Education/Experience: Education: Four-year degree in Information Technology or related field Experience: Seven years Technical Support experience Five years experience supporting Microsoft Windows Four years experience of supporting developed Business Applications Four years experience in using reporting tools Three years experience in Windows/Unix System server management Three years database experience: SQL Three years development experience Two years project management experience Two years EDI experience Proficient with Visio Proficient understanding and supporting interfaces and integrations Proficient understanding of Active Directory/Directory Services Experience with on-line and client-side transactional systems. |
