Summary :
Perform installation, configuration, administration, and tuning of software application products. Run necessary system backups. Provide technical support and trouble shooting assistance on software application related issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide efficient and effective resolution to internal/external client created cases.
Diagnose problems of proprietary enterprise platform
Participate as part of the client service team to ensure an excellent client experience
Provide high-quality software support in a fast-paced environment
Assist in the release and deployment of product updates
Participate in a rotating weekend shift
Functions as a focal point between system users, software developers, and operators by blending technical knowledge with business best practices
Education/Qualifications/Requirements
BSCS or degree in a related technical field, or equivalent work experience
2+ years of progressively responsible technical experience in customer support
2+ years experience with enterprise application support
1+ years experience with relational databases
Excellent Diagnostic and Problem Solving Skills
Strong experience working in Unix/Linux and Windows environments
Basic networking skills, an understanding of firewalls and network infrastructures a plus.
Experience remotely diagnosing networked computer systems.
Able to work in a team-focused, fast-paced environment
Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills, good customer interaction skills are a must
