Applications Analyst / Developer Imperva Inc.
Imperva is seeking a technically passionate Applications Analyst / Developer to join the Global IT Team, located at our corporate HQ in Redwood City, CA. Imperva, pioneering the third pillar of enterprise security, fills the gaps in endpoint and network security by directly protecting high-value applications and data assets in physical and virtual data centers. With an integrated security platform built specifically for modern threats, Imperva data center security provides the visibility and control needed to neutralize attack, theft, and fraud from inside and outside; to mitigate risk; and to streamline compliance.
The Applications Analyst / Developer reports to the Director of IT Applications and is responsible for cloud application development, application administration, configuration and maintenance. This individual ensures that Imperva?s cloud applications are running smoothly and are utilized to their fullest capabilities. The Application Analyst / Developer will assist in global application projects with planning, executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions. This individual will lead the following applications: Salesforce.com, Jive, GoodData, and ETL.
Application administration and support will include:
Salesforce.com ? Force.com Apex Code development, VisualForce, integrations and day to day administration.
Jive ? spaces, permissions, page customization.
NetSuite ? SuiteScript-ing and manage SOX compliance.
GoodData ? build and manage business intelligence projects
Working with end users in Sales, Marketing and Support.
Shell scripting (Windows and Linux) and/or other scripting language (Perl, PHP, or Python).
Maintaining and enhancing our ETL processes.
Must have 3+ years of experience.
Bachelor?s Degree in a related field is preferred.
Superior self-motivation, integrity, interpersonal skills and a natural troubleshooter.
Eager to learn new technologies and solve problems.
Knowledge of Java, C# or other object oriented programming experience.
Knowledge of SQL and basic DBA skills.
Knowledge of Windows & Linux environments.
