Purpose of Position and Scope of Responsibility:Under the supervisor?s direction develop code for Enterprise-wide web based system and/or maintain existing code. Design, develop and unit test the business application software code. The responsibilities include writing code using ASP.Net, classic ASP, C#, complex client side JAVASCRIPTS and XSLT. The person should have good understanding of RDBMS and also a demonstrated experience on writing business logic in stored procedures and database triggers of SQL server 2000 or beyond.
Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
? Primarily perform tasks/assignments given by supervisors. Should be able to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision.
? Must be able to develop/maintain code as per the requirements document prepared by business analyst. Understand process diagrams, flow charts and gap analysis.
? Deliver code/program within estimated time-frame with minimal variance. The candidate should be able to follow the general development guidelines, web application security considerations. Unit test the code before sending it to QA.
? Must be able to work cohesively in development team. Share ideas, opinions and skills. Participation in peer reviews.
? Must be able to perform troubleshooting, debugging type of activities on development, QA, UAT and Production environment.
