Medical Simulation Corporation (MSC) is a recognized leader in providing full-service simulation-based training services to hospital personnel, medical product manufacturers, and medical societies. As an organization, we develop, sell, and deliver simulation-based training and consulting services to the medical device and healthcare provider market.
We are seeking an experienced applications developer to support business applications that facilitate the sharing of information to assist in business decision-making as well as the daily operations of the business. This job will offer a challenging role for an individual who enjoys working on diverse projects while participating in a collaborative, customer-centric, team environment. The developer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, security, problem-solving, and support of our SharePoint and Pivotal CRM environments.
Here is what you will be doing:
You will be the SME and translate business requirements into technical requirements and drive end to end implementation.
You will meet with internal customers to define business requirements and ensure the development of quality applications maintaining data integrity.
You will assist program teams by providing in-depth technical and/or business knowledge needed to handle complex issues.
You will respond to problems/questions of internal customers; investigate technical and software-related problems; analyze, and recommend and/or implement solutions.
You will be responsible to train employees in the use of SharePoint and our Pivotal CRM system.
You will stay abreast of related technology and recommend future system enhancements, software purchases, or system upgrades,
Assist with other IT duties, as assigned, based on knowledge and availability,
We are looking for the following skills and experience:
At least two years of development experience with SharePoint 2010, including:
Excellent understanding of the software development process, including requirements analysis, testing, and deployment
Experience with web part development, site definitions, layouts, master pages, features, packages solutions, and event handlers
Experience deploying, upgrading, and supporting SharePoint 2010
Experience configuring SharePoint farms, services, search, and site collections
Understanding and design of taxonomies in a SharePoint environment
Experience developing SharePoint workflows using Designer and Visual Studio
Experience building highly customized SharePoint applications using Visual Studio 2010/2012 and SharePoint Designer 2010
Experience integrating SharePoint with a variety of business systems
Experience with Info Path, KPIs, records management, and excel services is a plus
Technical/functional/configuration experience on CRM packages
Experience in programming in C# , asp.net., html, and MS SQL
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Windows 7 and 8, and Office 2010/2013
Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of users, program managers, and business analysts in a subject matter expert capacity, giving input pertaining to evaluation and requirements discussions for project-related solutions around SharePoint and CRM initiatives
Ability to teach and explain procedures clearly
Ability and desire to learn new applications quickly and efficiently
Highly organized and efficient
Ability to work independently and in a team
Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision
College degree or equivalent experience required; degree in Computer Science preferred
