Applications Engineer Javelin Semiconductor
DescriptionThe Applications Engineer provides the technical interface between the customer and the Javelin team. This role involves broad interaction across the entire Javelin team worldwide. Experience with mobile handset systems and a demonstrated track record of success are required. Excellent technical skills in RF are required. Responsibilities include RF measurement and modeling, PCB design, build, and test, creation of technical documents and presentations, interaction with sales and customers to resolve technical issues.
Education
BSEE (MSEE preferred)
Experience
5+ years in wireless semiconductor field including customer interaction.
Skills
. Expertise in RF components and systems in mobile handsets
. Understanding of mobile handset standards and test procedures
. Experience with RFIC product flow from PG to EOL
. Strong RF engineering skills in the laboratory
. Excellent practical problem solving skills
. Ability to thrive in a broad team environment
. Diplomatic, responsive customer interface skills
. Strong verbal and written communications skills
Demonstrated track record of success
