Under limited supervision, responsible for the coordination and completion of medium-to-large, complex, multi-phased projects from beginning to end. Responsible for defining the project''s objectives and overseeing quality control throughout its life cycle.
Assists leadership in establishing project/program management processes and ensuring the adherence to those processes.
Monitors and provides executive status on all projects within Applications Development, even if not providing day to day management of those projects.
Works cross functionally across the organization to manage the execution and delivery of assigned projects within established project management methodologies.
Manages initial project documentation (implementation plan, issues log, process maps, etc.) and documents process flows and gaps.
Documents and identifies gaps in department and business processes through process mapping to illustrate current and future state.
Develops and tracks detailed projects plan including setting deadlines and assigning responsibilities.
Tracks key project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion of assigned projects. Identifies risks to project plan and initiates corrective action as needed.
Identifies and/or tracks business and/or technical issues and ensures appropriate resolution. Partners with key stake holders to develop and execute contingency plans as needed.
Develops presentations and reports for senior leadership and key stakeholders on project statuses and risks.
Assists in the assessment, implementation, upgrade, and usage of of project management software.
May lead and and/or direct the work of less experienced staff.
Participates in special projects or completes other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
Minimum 7+ year's related experience in a project management capacity.
IT Project Management experience specifically in application development and implementation
Must be able to watch over multiple projects at once

Able to design and implement process changes
Must be able to take unstructured situations and successfully implement appropriate structures
Must be able to take ambiguous situations or requirements and determine correct action plan
Must be able to analyze areas not working effectively and recommend and implement corrective actions.
Must be able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
Must have the ability to negotiate and influence results without direct authority.
A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.
