Description:
The Services Architect has demonstrated expertise in enterprise applications, SOA architectures and cloud services and technologies. He or she has mastered the hands-on application of design patterns, principles, and practices used to engineer and evolve such applications and services in these areas.
The Services Architect is an expert in the existing cloud computing technologies, including the public, private, and hybrid cloud models. He or she is also well versed in the various service models such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a key area of experience because most clouds are accessed using services. In addition, they must be well versed in the standard web development tools and platforms. Finally, the Services Architect is adept and combing off-the-shelf technologies, partner solutions and custom development to address the needs of the customer.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience include:
?MS, Ph.D or Sc.D in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Science
?15+ years of experience in designing and building large applications in a cloud/VM environment
?SOA, Eclipse, Java, SOAP, REST, XML, SQL, Ruby, VMs
